The
repair of this computer desk was accomplished on site in the office.
The damage occurred while installing the
computer tower, denting and scratching the
furniture. The repairs were made by filling in
the dents by burning-in with a matching shellac
stick, touch up and lacquer toning. |

consisted of gluing concealing seams blending
color and sheen. |

A puppy
had a good time chewing on these chairs. The
chairs were structurally sound. The repairs
performed were to buildup the damaged areas,
touchup and tone, then all seating surfaces were
rewoven with natural sea grass and three coats
of shellac.

‘Rhino Bird catcher’ sculpture was purchased
from a gallery in 2005. It is a limited edition
signed and numbered ceramic piece created by
artists Carlos & Albert. One day someone knocked
it over, and it landed on its ears which were
broken off and shattered into pieces. The
repaired sculpture showed no sign that anything
had ever happened. The repairs were absolutely
invisible! |

The seat and back were re-woven with 1/4" rattan
porch weave. |

all joints cleaned of old glue, re-glued,
and re-assembled with a new press cane seat installed. |
